Obituary: Joseph A. Berardi, 84, WWII Veteran
Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 1, 11:30a.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave in Norwalk. Burial with full military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery.

Joseph A. Berardi, age 84, of Norwalk, died Tuesday, October 29 at Norwalk Hospital.
He was the loving husband for 47 years of Frances Passafume Berardi. Joe was born in Norwalk on January 7, 1929, the son of the late Philip and Mary Leone Berardi, and has lived locally all of his life.
He was a veteran of WWII, serving his country in the U.S. Navy. Joe was the chief electrician at the Norwalk Hospital for 28 years and before that had his own electrical business. He enjoyed traveling with his wife Frances and was always willing to lend his time and experience to help a friend or family member.
In addition to his wife, Joe is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother Stephen.
Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 1, 11:30 AM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk.
Burial with full military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery. Donations in Joe’s name may be made to a local animal shelter.
