Kenneth Richard Cerulli, 41, Norwalk Police Officer

Kenneth Richard Cerulli, 41, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013.

Kenneth Richard Cerulli, 41, husband of Jennifer Saja Cerulli, died on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at home. He was born in Norwalk on February 25, 1971, the son of Edward J. and Judith Babinski Cerulli of Norwalk.

Ken was a lifelong Norwalk resident who graduated from Norwalk High School and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Western Connecticut State University in 1994. He was a two year veteran of the Norwalk Police Department. Ken was an avid boater and during the summer of 2012, he served in the department’s Marine Unit patrolling Long Island Sound. He was also a golfer and a big NASCAR fan.

In addition to his wife and parents Ken is survived by his siblings Thomas Cerulli, Michael Cerulli, Leigh Ann Matthews and Robert Cerulli; his grandmother Marion Babinski, 5 nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, January 22 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery. Ken’s family will receive friends on Monday from 4 to 8PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk.
