James T. Clancey, 84, Korean War Veteran

James T. Clancey, 84, was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the Carnegie Institute of Technology.

James T. Clancey, 84, died on Sunday, May 6, 2012 in Naples, FL where he lived since 1985. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Lucille (Rivituso) Clancey.

James was born in Pittsburgh in 1928, the only child of James T. and Lottie V. Clancey. He attended Pittsburgh Catholic schools and was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (’49) and Carnegie Institute of Technology (’51). He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was employed from 1950 to 1985 by Consolidated Coal Company – Research & Development Division.

Services will be held at the Magner Funeral Home at 12 Mott Ave. Norwalk CT from 5 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas in E. Norwalk, CT at 10 a.m. on Friday and interment will be at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.
