Grazia Maria Latella, 82, Norwalk Resident

Grazia Maria Latella, age 82 and wife of the late Vincenzo Rinaldo Latella, died peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital on Wednesday, June 12, 2013.  

Born March 13, 1931, in Solano Inferiore, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Santo and Vincenza Cambareri Legato and has lived locally since 1966. Grazia worked for many years for Swank, Inc. in Norwalk as a seamstress and later for Osborn & Little in Stamford. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and taking care of her loving family. 

Grazia is survived by her children Maria Vincenza Fedele and her husband Rocco of Norwalk, Sal Latella and his wife Marie of Westport and Ralph Latella of Norwalk, her sister Filomena Surace and her husband Giuseppe of Italy, her five grandchildren Lisa and Grace Fedele, Enzo, Turi and Marco Latella, and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 15, 10 AM at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery. Grazia’s family will receive friends on Friday from 4-7 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. Donations in her name may be made to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, 109 Highland Ave., Needham, MA, 02494.
