Edith (Gonczi) Smarz, 79 of Norwalk, wife of the late John Smarz, died on Tuesday, Aug 27, 2013 at Norwalk Hospital. Born and raised in Hungary, she worked as a nurse, before coming to the U.S. where she held various jobs over the years.
Predeceased by her siblings: Judy, Zoltan and Joseph, she is survived by her loving daughter Andrea Makepeace and her husband Dave of Danbury, and her cherished grandson Aiden whom she loved more than anything.
