Carmine “Judgie” Benincaso, 79, Retired Sheet Metal Specialist

Friends may greet the family on Tues., Jan. 21, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wed., Jan. 22, at 10:00 am at St. Matthew's Parish.

Carmine “Judgie” Benincaso age 79, beloved husband of Mary Palumbo Benincaso of Norwalk, died Sat., Jan. 18, in Norwalk Hospital with family by his side. He was born on July 16, 1934 and was a son to the late Frank and Victoria Christiano Benincaso. Carmine was a retired sheet metal specialist working for L & L Heating & AC. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching horse racing.

In addition to his loving wife Mary, he is survived by two daughters, Vicki Daniele and her husband Larry; Karen Weissert and her husband Jim, all of Norwalk; three cherished grandchildren, Nicholas & Kevin Daniele and Allison Weissert; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Frank, Jr. James & Joseph Benincaso.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday 10:00 am at St. Matthew’s Parish.

Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Norwalk.
