Bernard W. Anderson, age 93 of Norwalk, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Norwalk Hospital. He was the loving husband for 65 years of Margaret Callahan Anderson.
Born in West Haven on November 7, 1919, Bernard was the son of the late Sigurd and Mary Taft Anderson. He served his country during WW II in the U.S. Navy and was retired from SNET where he had been a cable supervisor for 41 years. He was associated with the Pioneers, loved the outdoors and was an amazing husband and father.

In addition to his wife, Bernard is survived by his daughter, Margaret Kennedy and her husband Arthur of Redding, his son Tim Anderson of Norwalk, grandchildren Sean Kennedy of Newtown and Moira Stanley of Nottingham, NH, great grandchildren Brooke, Rylan and Kennedy, and several nieces and nephews. His cousin, Hjalmar Anderson and wife Lucille Anderson reside in Winter Harbor, Maine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk on Saturday, April 6 at 10:30 AM. Burial with full military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery.
