This Saturday from 9-12 at West Rocks Middle School, the soccer players and coaches of the Norwalk Junior Soccer Association will be showing their support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
The soccer fields will be lined in PINK to promote the cause, and bracelets and goodies will be sold at the fundraising table. Players and coaches are planning to wear pink to show their support.
This is not the first time that NJSA has encouraged its members to 'give back'. In early October, a player collected used cleats and shin guards that would be sent to less-fortunate children.
NJSA is a parent-run organization that promotes the game of soccer -- but events like this also teach the kids the importance of charitable actions! Come by the fields on Saturday to see what NJSA is all about.
