Downtown Bridgeport's Celebration of Lights: Bridgeport is kicking off the holiday season Friday, 12/6/13. Mayor Bill Finch and family will host the City’s annual holiday tree lighting on McLevy Green. This free event will include live entertainment. Mike Bellamy as emcee.
Disco Skate Party at Winter Garden Ice Arena: Grab your kids and their friends and head to the Winter Garden Ice Arena in Ridgefield for a fun Disco Skate Party! Groovy music and wild lights will make this a super fun evening with your friends and family!
Fantasy of Lights at Lighthouse Point Park: Fantasy of Lights has become a holiday tradition for families all over Connecticut and New England. This colorful light display illuminates Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven for the holiday season. It's a fun event for your kids!
2013 Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival: Kickoff the winter season with holiday shopping and festive events at the Burr Homestead in Fairfield from Dec 5th-8th! All proceeds raised will fund The Kennedy Center’s Artist Cooperative, a new program opening Spring 2014 in Bridgeport.

5th Annual Greenwich Holiday Stroll Weekend: Horse drawn carriage rides, carolers, ice sculptors, bouncy castles, specialty food trucks, family art workshop and more than 100 participating retailers and restaurants offering special promotions and holiday cheer.
Santa's Express @ Railroad Museum of New England: Take a ride aboard the Santa Express with Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and Santa's friendly elves for an hour and twenty minutes, scenic train ride and family fun! This special experience with the Railroad Museum sells out, please buy your tickets early.
Old Greenwich First Light Festival! Come enjoy the start of the holiday season with horse-drawn carriage rides, holiday carolers, sweets and treats, hot chocolate, wine tastings, magic, face painting, music, and (of course), Santa Claus! It's the perfect reason to visit Old Greenwich!
The Nutmeg Conservatory Presents The Nutcracker at The Bushnell! Delighting audiences young and old, this holiday favorite brings to life toy soldiers and dueling mice, princesses and sugarplums – a delicious treat for the child in all of us performed by the Nutmeg Conservatory at The Bushnell in Hartford.

Gingerbread House and Cookie Workshop for Kids at Lyman Orchards: Make sugary shingles, snow-frosted windows, and add tons of icing and colorful candies for decorating! Children will have fun creating festive Gingerbread Houses and Cookies in the Apple Barrel Bakery at Lyman Orchards. Workshops fill quickly!
