Friday, November 1: Roller Skating at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center at Town of Greenwich Parks & Recreation. Bring your kids rollerskating at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center! For $8 per person (including skate rental!), you and your families will have fun and stay active! 90 Harding Road, Old Greenwich, CT 06870

Friday, November 1: Night Climbs at The Adventure Park! at The Adventure Park (at the Discovery Museum). The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum has strung lights in their trees to provide gentle light while preserving the excitement of climbing at night! Saturday, November 2: Day of the Dead Celebration - Día de los Muertos at Hudson River Museum. Día de los Muertos, a Mexican holiday, honors deceased loved ones. Celebrate with Mexican and Ecuadorian food, Mexican music, face painting, and crafts that make the day’s symbolism real.

Saturday, November 2: NCTC Presents The Cat in the Hat at Northeast Children's Theatre Company. Who doesn't love Dr. Seuss? The Northeast Children's Theatre Company brings The Cat in the Hat to life onto the stage with chaotic exuberance in this adaptation from the National Theatre of London. You and your kids will have a ton of fun!

Saturday, November 2: Daddy & Me Animal Show at Rye Nature Center at Rye Nature Center. 9:15 -10:00 AM. Fathers can drop in with their kids for this fun-filled animal adventure. $10/family members, $15/family non-members

Saturday, November 2: Kids Eat Brunch Free at Rodizio's in Stamford! at Rodizio Grill . Kids eat free (11 years or younger) with every adult “Full Rodizio” Brunch purchase. Bring your appetites to munch on our delicious appetizers, salads and finally sample more than 12 melt-in-your-mouth rotisserie grilled meats.

Saturday, November 2: Middle School Laser Tag at Stamford JCC. Grades 6-8.Compete against your friends in the ultimate laser tag battle of the year.

Saturday, November 2: Overnights at the Connecticut Science Center! at Connecticut Science Center. Enjoy an opportunity to stay at the Science Center at night! Explore the exhibits, discover special programs and set up camp during this exclusive after-hours experience. Don’t let your family miss this fun, memorable overnight adventure!

Sunday, November 3: Touch-A-Truck & Chili Cook-Off at Stamford Museum & Nature Center. Get up close and personal with some cool larger-than-life vehicles during Touch-A-Truck at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center.

Sunday, November 3: Happy Birthday New Rochelle at City of New Rochelle, NY. The concert will feature New Rochelle school children as well as professionals including actress Frances Sternhagen and the Amber Woodwind Quintet. Event at Columbus School (275 Washington Avenue, New Rochelle NY 10801).

Sunday, November 3: Shark Dive Observation at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk at City of New Rochelle. The Maritime Aquarium's dive team spends quality time with the sand tiger sharks, lemon shark and other creatures. Thanks to a cool communication link, you can even talk with the divers while they're in the exhibit with the sharks!

Sunday, November 3: Free First Sunday at the New Haven Museum at New Haven Museum. There's no admission at the New Haven Museum on the first Sunday of each month!

Sunday, November 3: First Sunday Bird Walk at Greenwich Point at Bruce Museum. Bring binoculars. Meet at main concession stand in Greenwich Point Park. This is a leisurely walk of about 2 miles to view birds in their habitats.

Sunday, November 3: Behind the Scenes Tour of Fascia's Chocolates! at Fascia's Chocolate. Bring your kids to Fascia's Chocolates for a tour they won't forget! Check out the manufacturing process and learn how chocolate is made! Of course, you'll be able to sample the chocolate and even make your OWN chocolate bar!
