Tails of Courage Dog and Puppy Rescue

The Immigration Law Offices of Cynthia R. Exner, LLC is a proud sponsor of the charitable dog and puppy rescue organization known as Tails of Courage, www.tailsofcourage.org.

This is Gussie, a baby female Australian shepherd mix.  All of her littermates have already been adopted and she is the only one left.  There were 8 originally in the litter.  Her mom was taking care of them all, but she was hit by a car and killed when her babies were only 2 weeks old.  The pups were found by kind rescue workers in West Virginia and bottle fed until they were old enough to eat and drink from a bowl.  All of Gussie’s 7 littermates got adopted this past weekend.  Gussie is lonely now and wondering where all her brothers and sisters went?  If you research Australian shepherds online you will learn that they are just about the smartest breed you can find, and of course, have tons of energy.

The last Tails of Courage adoption event on this past Saturday was a tremendous success.  There were 10 dogs and puppies adopted!  TOC came close to their goal of returning to the kennel with an empty van!  There were only 3 puppies in the van when they returned to the kennels.  HOORAY!
