From the Norwalk Veterans Memorial Day Committee website:

The annual Memorial Day Parade will be held this year on Monday, May 26, 2014, starting at 10 a.m. at Veterans Park in Norwalk, and ending at the Green on East Avenue.

Bands participating in past years include the Norwalk Fire Department Pipe Band, the Norwalk High School Marching Bears, the Brien McMahon High School Marching Senators, bands from West Rocks, Roton, Ponus Ridge, Nathan Hale Middle Schools.

A host of civic organizations, Scout troops, youthful athletic teams, and community groups marched, with prizes awarded for the best parade floats. We look forward to this year’s parade, and hope to make it even more successful than previous years events.
