New Haven Line Schedule Changes for July 3 & July 4

Extra trains are scheduled for Thursday, leaving Grand Central Station, and a Sunday schedule (with extra trains for Macy's fireworks) is in effect for July 4.

Metro-North trains  will operate on a Sunday schedule for July 4th, with additional trains running to the Macy’s fireworks display in New York City.

In addition, extra trains will run Thursday, July 3, and Friday, July 4, to help commuters get home and to shuttle revelers more easily to the Macy’s fireworks display.

Trains will operate on a Sunday schedule on the Fourth of July, with some additional trains running on the Harlem and New Haven Lines for service to the fireworks, according to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Most connecting services won’t operate Friday.

Some regular trains will not operate, or they will make additional stops, or they will be combined.

(And don't forget: Metro-North will change it's schedule on Monday, July 7.)
