Ferrell is promoting his new movie "Anchorman 2," in which he plays a 1970s-era news anchor named Ron Burgundy.

The Downtown Milford Connecticut Facebook page shared a photo this morning of Ferrell in his usual Burgundy garb in front of the old Milford Diner.

"He is hosting the (Dan Patrick) show as we speak," a post on the Facebook page read at 11:05 a.m. Thursday. "He may float around downtown after 12pm today when the show is over!"

To listen live, visit the Dan Patrick Show's website here (just click listen live on the top right-hand corner). On the homepage right now (11:05 a.m.) is a photo of Ferrell with the caption, "Ron Burgundy Invades Milford ManCave."

"Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" is the sequel to "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," which was released in 2004 and co-starred Christina Applegate and Steve Carell.

The sequel hits theaters Dec. 18. Click here to watch the trailer.

Motorists uninterested in catching a glimpse of Ferrell are advised to find an alternate route of travel through Downtown Milford. Police have reportedly closed the lane adjacent to Cafe Atlantique.
