Mayor Rilling and Fire Commissioners to Issue Oath to Recruits
Norwalk Fire Dept. to swear in four new recruits: Konstantine Miraloitis, Nicholas Lipeika, Anthony Papacoda and Keith Zaffuto.
The Norwalk Fire Department will be swearing-in four new recruits Monday Dec. 9 at 3:00pm. Chief Denis McCarthy, Mayor Harry Rilling and Fire Commissioners will be issuing the recruits their oath of service, at Norwalk Fire Headquarters.
The four newly appointed Firefighters graduated from the ConnecticutFire Academy on Friday, Dec. 6 after 14 weeks of training.
The four recruits will start work Monday, Dec. 11, with an orientation day prior to the ceremony and then they’ll begin a year’s probation assigned to one of the Department’s four platoons.
