Norwalk-Based HomeServe Gives $16K to American Cancer Society

HomeServe employees made donations to the American Cancer Society and were rewarded by the opportunity to wear jeans to work.

Employees across all HomeServe USA (HomeServe) sites made donations for Breast Cancer Awareness efforts, with a large portion of donations coming from Norwalk and Chattanooga, TN  employees who purchased "Jeans Passes" in increments of  $25, $50, $75 or more during October and November for the opportunity to wear jeans everyday to work through the end of 2013.

HomeServe, a premier provider of home emergency repair service plans, matched each employee donation and accumulated $16,000 to donate to the American Cancer Society targeting the support to end the fight against breast cancer.

The funds were presented to the American Cancer Society office in Norwalk on Thursday, December 12.
