The Norwalk Historical Society presents Summer Beer Tasting with beer expert Gregg Glaser, Thursday, July 25, 2013, 7-9PM at Mill Hill Historic Park, 2 East Wall St., Norwalk. Learn about the History of Beer in New England with an emphasis on Connecticut breweries — both old ones that have closed and the new flourishing of craft breweries. Along with the talk, there will be a tasting of 8-10 beers from Connecticut breweries, including: Back East Brewing, Cambridge House Brewery & Beer, Charter Oak Brewing, City Steam Brewery, Half Full Brewery, Olde Burnside Brewing, Southport Brewing, and Thomas Hooker Ales & Lager. Appetizers will be available.
