Short Cuts, a short film series,
takes place 7-9 p.m. at Garden Cinemas in Norwalk on Thursdays Oct. 17 and Nov.
7. Featured films for October will include “Shaking Tokyo,” (2008) directed by South Korean film director and screenwriter Bong Joon-ho and “14e
Arrondissement," (2006) filmed in Paris by acclaimed director Alexander
Payne. A post-show discussion will be led by Drew Taylor, who is the features
editor, critic and columnist for The Playlist/Indiewire. The $25 admission
includes films, coffee, dessert and popcorn. Tickets go on sale Sept. 24.
