Puppy Mill Protest on Saturday, October 12 from noon until 2 p.m. outside of Worldwide Puppies and Kittens (2560 Sunrise Highway, Bellmore, New York 11710

Orchestrating for Nature (LION) is hosting a 2-hour peaceful protest and educational demonstration outside of Worldwide Puppies and Kittens in Bellmore on October 12, 2013 in order to urge Governor Cuomo to sign A.740a/S.3753a, a bill that would allow local municipalities to regulate pet stores. This event will be attended by and is endorsed by two national organizations and several local organizations ranging from Manhattan to Brookhaven.

Today, Worldwide Puppies and Kittens is still in business and up to the same cruel antics, ripping off their customers and selling dogs from the Hunte Corporation, the largest dealer of puppy mill dogs in the world.

Right now, A.740a/S.3753a, a bill that would allow local municipalities to regulate pet stores, is sitting on Governor Cuomo’s desk just waiting to be signed. This bill has the potential to stop this terrible abuse.

Long Island Orchestrating for Nature – LION, Companion Animal Protection Society, The Humane Society of the United States, Hope for Hempstead Shelter Unlimited, RSVP Inc Animal Welfare and Rescue Group, Puppy Mill Free NYC, and Karuna For Animals: Compassion in Action, Inc. will protest as a united front on Saturday, October 12 from noon until 2 p.m. outside of Worldwide Puppies and Kittens (2560 Sunrise Highway, Bellmore, New York 11710) in order to ask Governor Cuomo to finish what he started and to sign A.740a/S.3753a! target=”_blank”>Hope for Hempstead Shelter Unlimited, RSVP Inc Animal Welfare and Rescue GroupPuppy Mill Free NYC, and Karuna For Animals: Compassion in Action, Inc. will protest as a united front on Saturday, October 12 from noon until 2 p.m. outside of Worldwide Puppies and Kittens (2560 Sunrise Highway, Bellmore, New York 11710) in order to ask Governor Cuomo to finish what he started and to sign A.740a/S.3753a!
