Prohibition, Norwalk: 1925

Crystal Theatre presents Prohibition, Norwalk: 1925 on Saturday, November 23rd at 7:30pm and Sunday, November 24th at 3:00pm at the Ben Franklin Theatre  66 Bayview Ave. Norwalk, CT. Prohibition Norwalk: 1925 is the newest installment in Cheryl Kemeny's Ellis Island Series and is the sequel to last year's Norwalk-based hit musical, Whistleville. With book by Samantha Kulish and music and lyrics by Cheryl E. Kemeny, Prohibition Norwalk: 1925 takes you on a wild ride through Norwalk during the Roaring 20's!  It has been 18 years since Kate Sullivan O'Reilly has become Mrs. Robin Brennen. Living on Golden Hill in Norwalk with Robin and their teenage daughter, Maggie, life couldn't be better. However, after a series of bad investments and anti-Catholic prejudices getting in the way of business, Robin Brennen decides to make money off of Prohibition the illegal way. That decision results in dangerous repercussions for his town and family. The musical also centers around the juxtaposed views on prohibition as Mary Seymour Hirst battles to keep the town dry while the elite over on Bell Island party harder than ever before. Tickets are $12 for Adults, $10 for seniors and $7.00 for students. Visit our website at www.crystaltheatre.org or call 203-847-4850
