Post Sandy Hook Community Event: Raising Responsible and Resilient Children by WOW of Connecticut

Women of Wellness of CT (WOW) is hosting a Fairfield County Community
Event on May 2nd designed to bring parents in our community together for
a night of fun, learning and connection. Proceeds will be donated to
Healing Newtown (www.healingnewtown.org)
as CT moms gather for an evening of wine, light bites and a special
presentation by renowned speaker and parenting expert Michael Thompson,
Ph.D., bestselling author of Raising Cain, The Pressured Child, and
others. Dr. Thompson will speak about raising responsible children to
build stronger families and communities. The event will be at The Darien
Community Association (274 Middlesex Road, Darien, CT) from 6:30 --
9:00PM.  RSVP at www.wowofct.org ahead of time as space is limited.

presentation and discussion will be led by Michael Thompson, Ph.D.,
bestselling author of Raising Cain, The Pressured Child, and others. Dr.
Thompson is a consultant, author and psychologist specializing in
children and families. He travels approximately 80 days a year to speak

Women
of Wellness (WOW) of CT is a local network of female health and
wellness practitioners dedicated to supporting women and their families
throughout Fairfield County. As healers and caretakers for women and
families, the members of WOW feel a special sense of responsibility to
help further resilience and recovery in the area after the tragic events
of last December. To that end they created an event they hope will
encourage and empower local parents who attend, while also supporting a
very worthy organization dedicated to recovery for Newtown families.
