Mid-Autumn Festival

Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival at the South Norwalk Branch Library

The South Norwalk Branch Library will celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, the second most popular holiday in China, from 1:00 - 3:00pm on Saturday, September 14th.  The festivities will kick off with a light lunch, an exciting book hunt for children and a fun trivia game about the festival for adults. Winners will be awarded with moon cakes.  For added enjoyment, Jia-Yi He, an award-winning, world-class harmonica virtuoso, who has received numerous awards at international competitions in England, Germany, Israel, Japan and United States, and has appeared on America’s Got Talent, will perform classical Chinese music accompanied by a string quartet.   This event is free and is open to the public.  Your Norwalk Public Library card will be your passport to the festivities!   Registration is required and is available online or by calling 203.899.2790 x15902.
