Special Education Advocacy Workshop will be Conducted by Two Connecticut Attorneys to Help Families


Navigate the System and Obtain the School Services They Need

STAR, Inc., Lighting the Way will host “Making It Happen in Connecticut”, a special education advocacy
workshop presented by Nora Belanger, Esq. and Anne Treimanis, Esq. on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. These local attorneys will share important information and concrete tips about how to obtain FAPE (Free
Appropriate Public Education) via the services your child needs at school. All
course materials are included, as well as a continental breakfast and lunch.
Cost for the workshop is $125 per person ($100 for STAR family members).
