GALLERY EXHIBITION OPENING TONIGHT at WALA in SONO!

     “The Space
Between” is a new exhibition opening at WALA Gallery (Wilson Avenue Loft
Artists) on November 8th, 2013. The public is invited to see the new
exhibition at an evening reception located on the second floor of 225 Wilson
Avenue in South Norwalk. The works of art in this exhibition deal with the open
interpretation of space in representational and abstraction genres. This can
mean something as simple as the space between lines, abstraction in two and
three dimensional, spatial orientations or the complexities of space found in the
linear perspective of a landscape painting! A compelling range of bold and
subtle works will be on display in a range of sizes in the WALA gallery.

In conjunction with the show’s opening on
Friday evening, the rest of that weekend provides the public an opportunity to
purchase artwork of all types at the group’s Annual Holiday Open Studios.
Included in this Open Studios, collectors will find drawing, painting,
printmaking, mixed media, ceramic, photography and jewelry for holiday gift
giving at all price levels. Thirteen accomplished artists from the Fairfield
County area will be present and available to discuss their studio work and
commissioned work is taken on by all of the artists.

   The reception
for the gallery show is Friday evening, November 8th, from 6-9pm.
The Open Studios will be held Saturday and Sunday from 11am-4pm. For further
information, please go the WALA website at www.wilsonavenueloftartists.com.  We look forward to seeing you there!
