My Furry Valentine

• Come meet the adoptable cats and dogs (age 1 year or older) rescued by PAWS! It is part of our Valentine’s Day promotion from Feb. 11 to Feb. 24.
  

  The event includes:

• Lower adoption fees: $50 for cats and $140 for dogs over a year. (Kittens and puppies excluded


• “Meet Your Match” questionnaire to help both adopter and adoption counselor figure which pet/s at PAWS are your match


• Goody bags filled with things for your new furry friend!

“We are making it so easy for people to meet our fabulous felines and canines who are ready to go home with you. And for a reduced adoption fee, you can save a cat or dog who could end up saving you”, said PAWS President, Alexis Heydt.  “Every day 9,000 animals are killed in shelters simply because they don’t have homes. Just by adopting a pet, everyone can be part of the nationwide movement to end the killing of adoptable, treatable animals.

Alexis Heydt added “When you perform the lifesaving act of adopting a pet, your life is better too. You are bringing furry love into your home that can help you lower your risk of a heart attack, boost your immune system, reduce your blood pressure, and a whole host of other health benefits, too. Plus if laughter is the best medicine, cats can provide a daily dose with their antics or just snuggle up and let you know everything’s going to be okay.” All cats and dogs adopted from this program will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
