Fairfield
County Children’s Choir Toasts 2013 with a Snazzy, Jazzy Salute to Broadway

The widely acclaimed Fairfield County Children’s Choir will kick off 2013 with a BroadwayConcert and Auction on Saturday, February 2nd, 2013 at 7 pm at the
Norwalk Concert Hall. It will be hard to control your “jazz hands” once the FCCC raises the curtain on this year’s selection of Broadway show-stoppers!

Favorites from a number of cherished musicals, including The Little Mermaid, The Wizard of Oz, and Guys & Dolls will guarantee that there’s something for everyone
in the audience. In addition to the rousing choruses, we’ll be shining the spotlight on some of our fine soloists and the FCCC orchestra will join us on stage tolend its signature jazzy pizzazz.

According to Jon Noyes, Music Director of FCCC,
“What makes the FCCC Broadway concert so incredible
is the combination of great music, our talented chorus, our wonderful pit band and especially our soloists. In the past few years we have even gone without
the inclusion of a professional Broadway soloist since we received so many positive comments about the amazing talent we had within our ranks. If you are
a fan of Broadway music, this is a concert you will thoroughly enjoy!”

The concert also includes a silent auction,
beginning at 5:30pm, featuring a myriad of items for sale including a family fun pack to the Sound Tigers, movie nights, spa/beauty treatments, restaurant
gift certificates and  gift baskets. While
dancing in the aisles isn’t permitted, toe-tapping and humming along to these favorite Broadway numbers are encouraged.
