Book & A Movie: Ordinary People

Ordinary People is the
story of strained relationships after a tragic accident affects an affluent family living in a Midwestern suburb during the 1970s.  The 1980 film, 124 minutes, winner of 4 Academy Awards including Best Director for Robert Redford and Best Actress for Mary Tyler Moore, will be shown after the book discussion. Those who want to discuss the book are invited to stay to view the movie and those who only want to view the film are welcome to do so.  Multiple copies of the book are available at the South Norwalk Branch Library.  Refreshments will be served.  This program is free and open to the public.  Registration is available online or by calling 203.899.2790 x 15902.
