Armenian Author Nancy Kricorian to Present...

Noted author of the books Zabelle and Dreams of Fire, Nancy Kricorian, will be presenting a slideshow about the research that went into her recent novel 'All The Light There Was' on October 20, 2013, at 1:30 p.m., at the church hall at Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension.   All The Light There Was is the story of an Armenian family living in Paris during the dark days of the Nazi Occupation.  It includes a bittersweet love story and examples of everyday heroism.   Publishers Weekly commented, "Kricorian's treatment of family dynamics and love under extreme circumstances creates an emotional read."
The event is presented by the Women's Guild and is free and everyone is welcome to attend.  You are welcome to come ahead of time for Divine Liturgy (10:30 a.m.) and coffee hour (12:30).  Copies of 'All the Light There Was' will be available for purchase.  Nancy Krikorian will be happy to sign your books. (Maybe now is a good time to check an item or two off your Holiday shopping list!  A personally-autographed book makes a great gift.)
