On the steps of City Hall in Norwalk on Sunday, Democratic mayoral candidate Harry Rilling announced that if elected Mayor he would fix what he describes as an "injustice" to veterans.

Standing in front of the bronze plaques that display the names of Norwalk’s veterans at City Hall, Rilling said, “The names here have not been updated since November 2005."

Rilling, who served in the United States Navy from 1967-1971, said, in a release that veterans should get the recognition and respect they deserve.
