Friends of Rilling raised over $46,000 in the 24 days ending October 27, 2013, 64% more than the $27,950 raised by the Moccia campaign according to the campaigns’ latest filings.
The Rilling campaign has raised over $144,000 since February, according to a release from the Democrat's campaign office.
“Every day, I meet more Norwalkers who are ready for new leadership in City Hall,” said Harry Rilling in the release, “and I am proud to have their support.”
“Clearly the people of Norwalk recognize that it's time for new leadership at City Hall,” said campaign manager Kevin Coughlin.
“Norwalk needs a Mayor who is proactive on issues like redevelopment, schools, and bringing civility back to City government," added Coughlin. "Harry’s breadth of experience, his unique insights on the issues facing Norwalk, and his concrete plans for leading a change in the direction of the City are resonating with Norwalkers across the political spectrum.”
