Possible Mistrial in Lamont McCrae Case

Judge Gary White reportedly ordered jurors to suspend their deliberations at Stamford Superior Court Tuesday while they are individually interviewed to determine if a document that was erroneously included in their packets tainted the process.

Jurors in the trial of Lamont McCrae, accused of stabbing Vonterrell "Grade A" George to death in on June 13, 2008, are reportedly being interviewed to determine if suppressed evidence which they inadvertently viewed has compromised their ability to deliver a fair verdict in the case.

According to a report in The Hour of Norwalk, Judge Gary White ordered jurors to suspend their deliberations at Tuesday while they are individually interviewed to determine if a document that was erroneously included in their packets tainted the process.

At least one juror who viewed the suppressed evidence reported to Judge White that it was "cryptic" in nature and "didn't make a whole lot of sense," according to the report.
