Norwalk Man Caught with Drugs in a School Zone

The 20-year-old was arrested March 13.

A 20-year-old Norwalk man was charged with possession of drugs with intent to sell in a school zone following a motor vehicle stop on Scribner Avenue, near Shaw Avenue, on Wednesday, March 13.

According to police, officers stopped Christopher Suarez, of Kellee Court at 3:15 p.m. for traffic offenses. Upon investigation, it was determined Suarez was in possession of less than four ounces of marijuana in the vicinity of Brookside Elementary School.

Suarez is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia in a school zone, possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, possession of drugs in a school zone, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of marijuana with intent to sell in a school zone.

He was held on $1,500 bond and given a March 22 court date.
