Milford Man Arrested in Connection With 2010 Sexual Assault in Norwalk

Milford police said Vincent Pozzuoli, of 129 Carriage Path South, was taken into custody at 9:45 a.m. Friday for violating conditions of his probation related to a 2010 arrest in Norwalk on a charge of fourth-degree sexual assault.

A 65-year-old man Milford man was on March 2 by members of the U.S Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force in connection with a sexual assault incident that took place in in 2010.

said Vincent Pozzuoli, of 129 Carriage Path South, was taken into custody at 9:45 a.m. Friday for violating conditions of his probation related to his 2011 conviction on a charge of fourth-degree sexual assault for fondling an 8-year-old student while working as a gymnastics instructor at the .

According to a report in the Morning Sentinel, Pozzuoli violated the terms of his probation when he visited a gymnastics school in Maine.

He was held on $50,000 bond.

The Task Force, under the direction of the U.S. Marshals, is comprised of officers from Milford, Hamden and New Haven police officers.
