Five Things You Need to Know About Norwalk: May 23

The Maritime Aquarium is hosting a "Dinosaur Summer" beginning May 26 with the IMAX movie “T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous” then followed on June 18 with a robotic dinosaur exhibit and a simulator ride-film “Dino Island II: Escape from Dinosaur Island”. This "triple play" ends September 5, don't miss it.
  2. The 2011 Relay For Life of Norwalk on June 17 will be at . The 24-hour event "gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease."
  3. The will be held on Monday, June 6, beginning at 10 a.m. with the Golf Classic at . The dinner ceremony will be at 6 p.m. honoring Chet Valiante the COO and Publisher of the .
  4. As you may know, May is National Electrical Safety Month. Here is another safety tip from CL&P: "If you buy a generator, make sure it is properly installed by a licensed electrician and it includes a transfer switch. Keep in mind that you may also need a town permit or an official inspection."
