Member Appreciation Week at Stepping Stones Museum, plus more!
- Congratulations to long time Norwalk resident and former New Canaan High School teacher, , as she has published her first her first book, a crime novel, Metro-Line to Murder. The book can be purchased in paperback or in a Kindle version. Look for copies in local libraries and independent book stores also.
- continues Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at with interactive fun by Dinoman, a life-size inflatable dinosaur and his raccoon Reflex. Musical performance by the band Free Ride filling the air with current and classic rock.
- It's Member Appreciation Week at . This week enjoy member-only mornings from 9 to 10 a.m. with a different themed experience and activity hosted by a puppet. Bring up to four guests during member-only mornings at 50% off each admission. Enjoy 25% off beach items at museum store and the Beach Party for member families on Friday.
- It's time to sign up for Rowayton Youth Soccer. The recreational community soccer program - run by volunteers - is for children from 4-14 years old. The 10 week session runs from September 3 through November 5 and is available for on-line registration now.
- Every Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. there is a held at Calf Pasture Beach open to all levels. Bring your yoga mat, a blanket and meet in-front of the bathrooms. The class is free but donations are welcome.
