  1. The recipient of a “Top Medical Teacher Award” from New York Medical College is Joseph Cleary, MD, MACP, of Ridgefield, director of medical student education and the associate director of the Department of Medicine’s Residency Program at . He is also the Adjunct Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College. Congratulations!
  2. The next free movie-of-the-week at the is Madagascar today at 2:30 p.m. Screenings are free and will be held in the Friends of the Norwalk Public Library System Community Room, top level of the library.  No registration is required.
  3. Westport's 38th Fine Arts Festival is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Held at Parker Harding Plaza with more than 145 juried artisits, children's activities and entertainment. It is not to be missed "because everyone can use more art in their life."
  4. Johnny Winter is coming to Norwalk Concert Hall 8 p.m. Friday, July 22. This Blues master is releasing a new CD due out in September titled "Roots." Tickets are $45 and $100.
  5. Don't forget the Rowayton Farmer's Market in from 2 to 6 p.m. today. Pick up some fresh eggs, naturally locally raised beef or maybe something pickled.
