- Give and you shall receive! Stop by the today from 11:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and take part in the American Red Cross Blood Drive and help take a BITE out of the blood shortage in Connecticut. Donors will receive or to a "classic IMAX" movie, and you'll will be entered to win a year family membership. Also, donors will get a coupon from Edible Arrangements for a box of 6 chocolate covered fruits.
- Summer Jam Live at continues on Wednesday and for three Wednesday nights "Featuring the hottest, up-and-coming young musicians in the industry." It kicks off with three high energy preformances with DJ Jadin in the Mix, Lil' P-Nut and B-Xtreme. Doors open at 6 p.m.
- The is hosting "Norwalk Night Out as part of the National Night Out program to strengthen and expand our Police/Community Partnerships." Join our men and women in blue Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Ryan Park, located at the intersection of Day Street and Raymond Street. Food and refreshments will be served.
- The is still a little over a month away but just in case you were wondering about who the headliners would be this year... Friday, September 9 be "King For A Day" with FUEL, Saturday, September 10 catch that "Run Away Train" with Soul Asylum and on Sunday, September 11 "Fly Away" with Silverado.
- Saturday, August 6 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. A Cat's Place will host an open house and adoption day at their new facility at 322 Westport Avenue. "North Shore Animal League will join us with their adoption bus, bringing cats and kittens who are in need of a good home. We will also be raising money for local pet-related non-profits, like PAWS and we'll have cat related information and demonstrations. Food, fun and prizes for the entire family!
