Five Things You Need to Know About Norwalk: April 27

Top Doc, Teens, Artist Exhibition, New American Cancer Society Regional Center and Walk, Roll and Stroll.

  1. Norwalk Radiology and Mammography Center radiologist James Bauman, M.D. has for the second consecutive year, been named one of the state’s best physicians in Connecticut Magazine's annual “Top Docs” feature.
  2. Now through June 21 will be hosting teen activities that include game nights, tournaments, books, online test prep, creative writing, chess, book to movie night and online research.
  3. The forcast for Sunday May 1 is sunny and beautiful. The perfect day to head over to Sherwood Island for the and Family Fun Day from 11 to 1:30 p.m. This event supports individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Fairfield County.
  4. The Wilson Avenue Loft Artists Studio is kicking off its Spring Sale and Exhibition “Fresh” with an opening reception 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 30. The event located at 225 Wilson Ave. in SoNo, will feature live music and works on display.
  5. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held yesterday for the new American Cancer Society Regional Center, C. Anthony and Jean Whittingham Family Building. The 13,350-square-foot building located at 38 Richards Ave. in Norwalk will bring social services and programs to more people in Fairfield County.
