Mozilla to Provide Keynote at DevCon5

HTML5 leader to share insight at December 10-11 event

 

Norwalk, Conn—December 5, 2013—Today TMC and Crossfire Media announced that Mozilla will speak at DevCon5 HTML5 & Mobile App Developer Conference. The event will be held December 10-11, 2013, at the Hilton Los Angeles/ Universal City, California, and will enable attendees to immerse themselves in HTML5 topics, including user-experience design and security, building new business models for the mobile Web, browser compatibility with HTML5 and much more.

On Wednesday, December 11 at 9:00 am, Bill Walker, Senior Manager at Mozilla Labs will present a keynote titled “Firefox Marketplace: Breaking the Stranglehold of App Stores.” The session will focus on the ecosystem surrounding the newly-launched Firefox OS for mobile phones and Firefox Marketplace app and how they are staged to transform the mobile Web.
