Currency 2.0 Brings Valuable Conference Agenda to Cryptocurrency Marketplace

TMC & Systemwide Media today announced the official conference program for the first annual Currency 2.0 Conference, held July 22, 2014, at The Kimmel Center at New York University in New York City. Currency 2.0 is the only event exploring opportunities across all forms of cryptocurrency—including Bitcoin, Google Wallet, Amazon Coins and more. The conference will explore this changing financial landscape, addressing not only the concept of new currency models, but how commerce will be affected and what new opportunities will evolve as a result.

“Give yourself credit! When thinking about Currency 2.0 lots of people talk about cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, but Currency 2.0 recognizes the value of using all new monies to impact financial transactions around the world,” Carl Ford, Executive Director of Content for Currency 2.0 points out “Credit, finance and industry all have opportunities and challenges with Cryptocurrency. Currency 2.0 is not for the technology fan, it’s for the financial planner in our future.”

The full Currency 2.0 agenda will feature programming on commerce, technical considerations and regulatory information. Specific sessions include:
