AARP's Terry Bradwell to Lend IT Best Practices to Business Technology Event

Norwalk, CT—July 10, 2014—Today TMC announced that AARP’s Terry Bradwell will be delivering a keynote on “Unleashing the Hidden Value of IT” at ITEXPO Las Vegas, to be held August 11-14, 2014, at The Rio in Las Vegas, Nevada. The business technology event provides insight into a variety of communications industries and will focus on new technologies, regulatory issues and trends in VoIP, mobility and wireless, IT management, customer experience and more. Bradwell will deliver his keynote on Wednesday, August 13, at 1:00 pm.

AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization with a membership of nearly 38 million. The organization helps people turn their goals and dreams into real possibilities, strengthens communities and fights for the issues that matter most to families such as healthcare, employment and income security, retirement planning, affordable utilities and protection from financial abuse. The organization also recently initiated a pilot program teaching older adults how to use technology through hands-on workshops. Bradwell conceptualized this program, called AARP TEK, which stands for Technology Education & Knowledge. Bradwell serves as executive vice president and chief information officer for AARP, and is a 10-year veteran focusing on innovation, technology and business strategy. In his role, Bradwell is transforming the IT organization from being a "cost center" to a "value center." He leverages technology to drive business optimization, enabling high-performance throughout the workforce.
