Pepperidge Farm Donates Gear For Norwalk's 'Fit Kids' Program

Norwalk Mayor Richard Moccia was reportedly on hand for the event. Developed by the Norwalk Health Department and the , the "Fit Kids" program aims to foster good exercise habits in children.
"With childhood obesity at epidemic proportions, the health of our nation's children is a top priority for many organizations," said Theresa Argondezzi, health educator at the Norwalk Health Department, in a press release. "The generosity and support provided by Pepperidge Farm, its parent company, Campbell Soup, and the Campbell Soup Foundation are making it possible to impact this critical social issue and ultimately to improve the health of young people in our communities. We are extremely grateful for their support."
