New Canaan Restaurants Among Tops in Connecticut

Elm Restaurant, Boulevard 18 and South End are among the best-rated restaurants for 2013 by Connecticut Magazine.

The votes are in and it's not too surprising that four of the best-rated restaurants in the state of Connecticut are in New Canaan.

According to the 2013 Best Restaurants rankings by Connecticut Magazine,
Elm Restaurant was named "Best New" restaurant by its critics. It was also received "honorable mention" for "Best Dessert."

South End also made the top-five "Best New" restaurants, while Boulevard 18 received "honorable mention" in the "Best French" category. Thali, which has locations in New Canaan as well as in New Haven and Ridgefied, also made the list in the "Best Indian" category.

What do you think of Connecticut Magazine's choices? Did they get it right? What New Canaan restaurants do you think they overlooked? Tell us in the comments!

Love Thali and I need to get to Elm. And I know it's not a full-service restaurant but I'd skip dinner to have Gelatissimo Artisan Gelato...

Elm is also opening in Brooklyn, with Paul Liebrant. Are they partners?
