Darien Sidewalk Sale Days Run Thursday Through Saturday
Merchants all around Darien will have tents outdoors with discounted sale items.
The tents will be out with bargains underneath them on sidewalks and in parking lots from Thursday and running through Sunday, for this year's Darien Sidewalk Sale Days.
Darien shops along the Post Road, at Goodwives Shopping Center and in Noroton Heights will have bargains in the tent and indoors from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day..
The Darien Chamber of Commerce organizes the event, and First County Bank is continuing as the title sponsor.
On Saturday, Day Street will be closed to vehicles to allow more people to walk through. Children can also have fun on and in inflatable structures downtown.
At Seasons Too, 836 Post Rd., you can sign up for a free chance to win one of four Sidewalk Sales prizes: brunch for four at Ten Twenty Post, breakfast for two at Estia's and two townwide gift certificates.
