Lilo, a local pup fighting Parvo needs your help

We need your help to help little Lilo fight deadly Parvovirus.

We rescued this little Lady from Bridgeport Animal Control. Sadly, within 24 hours of going to her new home, little Lady (now Lilo) suddenly broke with Parvo. Being that once a dog is a BBR dog, they are ALWAYS a BBR dog, we are helping her adopters handle this situation and rushed her to the vet.

We need your help to help her fight this. She is on IV fluids, getting multiple medications and getting the best care possible, round the clock.

Update 1/23: Her estimated stay at the vet will be 7-10 days. There is no way we would abandon her or her family in their time of need.

PLEASE donate to via our Chipin link (below) towards Lilo's care. Her family (and her BBR family) love her very much and we can't wait for her to be well again and back in her home. http://bullybreedrescuect.chipin.com/lilo

Parvo is horrid. "Lilo" looks like "Ring Ding" who survived Parvo but it was expensive. See this Patch feature on RIng Ding surviving Parvo last month. http://patch.com/A-0w4w Ring Ding survived and has since been adopted. LEt's hope Lilo does too!

Why is it the panel for this event does not include a single advocate for gun-owners' rights? WithRead More all due respect to Chief McNamara, why does the panel not include a person who can speak to gun safety from a gun-owning civilian's perspective? ML, you claim that the assembled folks "do not offer judgements about gun ownership" but they are not including a single voice that can offer a perspective on gun ownership. I have been to "education" sessions sponsored by Meg's March for Change and they are one-sided indoctrinations into gun control advocacy. >>>> I was in Hartford for the public hearings in January when both Meg and March co-founder Nancy gave their personal testimonies and they all but threatened the legislators on the panel with election day retribution for all those who did not tow the gun-control line of thinking (i.e. March and CAGV). To suggest that Meg "does not offer judgements" is fallacious and disingenuous.
