CT Celebrity Makeup Artist Brandy Gomez-Duplessis

Celebrity Makeup Artist Brandy Gomez-Duplessis relocates to Connecticut.

Hi Everyone, I’m Brandy Gomez-Duplessis, a Celebrity Makeup Artist who recently moved to Connecticut. I would like to introduce myself to you as I will be writing a beauty blog on The Patch. I’m a wife and a mother of two and two babies Miko (yorkie) & Ani (yorkie/fox terrier) lol.

I moved to Connecticut from New York by way of New Orleans. For the last 15 years I worked full time as a freelance makeup artist in New Orleans. I have been fortunate to work many major assignments doing makeup on celebrities and keying events. My schedule had gotten so hectic that I started a blog “Inside The Life Of A Makeup Artist” for my friends to keep up with me while I travel with work. As of today my blog has been viewed 123,643 times and is sharing my life with women & girls all over the world.

In 2011, I moved to New York while the family stayed back in New Orleans. My husband and I decided that by October we would either move forward with the entire family or if I would just return back home based on my career. Well, it looks like my career won and two days before Thanksgiving we moved to Connecticut, but it was not an easy move. During the month of October and November, I was on the road traveling. My bestie would take pics and make videos of homes. A lot of times while on an airplane, I would be going through my emails reviewing homes. It was a crazy way to look at our new home, but I am grateful for the technology, lol.

I am now here in Connecticut, the family has made a smooth transition, and my schedule has not slowed down. I spend a lot of time still working in New York, but I am now working all over Connecticut. I do a lot of makeup assignments in Danbury, Darien, Greenwich, Stamford, and New Canaan. I am enjoying meeting all of the ladies in each city and learning how the women wear makeup and what type of makeup they are interested in.

I plan to bring you a glimpse of my life sharing with you sneak peeks of how I get clients ready for red carpet events, weddings, photo shoots, or just special occasions. Whenever I make guest appearances in Connecticut, I will be sure to share that with you also. And of course, you want to know what your favorite celebs like about the products I used on them.
