Norwalk Community College serves as a VITA site providing free tax preparation for residents with 2013 incomes under $52,000.
Professor Scott and his team of tax prep volunteers are participating in a Special “tax blitz day” this Saturday, Feb. 22.
Individuals who have their taxes done at a VITA site save money and can use that savings to pay bills or build their savings. It is a win-win for both the individual and the local economy.
