Pirates Invading Norwalk This Weekend

Trade those landlubber legs for a seafaring situation on Sheffield Island.

Avast, me hearties — there's treasure to be had this weekend on Sheffield Island.

"Visitors who take a round-trip ferry ride to the [Sheffield Island] lighthouse will encounter pirate re-enactors who will dazzle them with story telling, sea
chanteys, sword fighting and cannon fire demonstrations, among other pirate-like traditions," the Norwalk Seaport Association wrote in this announcement on Norwalk Patch.

Tickets to the island are $22 for adults, $12 for children ages four to 12 and $5 for children 3-years old and younger. Pirate weekend activities are free.
