Mayor's Gallery Oyster Exhibit Closing June 30

Exhibit celebrates oysters' contribution to Norwalk and the town's industry.

There are only a few days left to treasure the oyster exhibit in the Mayor's Gallery.

The exhibit, which opened in April, will run through June 30. It celebrates oysters' contribution to Norwalk and the town's industry.

"The exhibit highlights the science and natural history of oysters, information on the biology and ecology of this common bivalve, tools of oyster harvesting and shucking, all on loan from The Norwalk Historical Collection, The Rowayton Historical Society, and friends of the Bruce Museum of Greenwich, CT," according to the Norwalk city website.

The Mayor’s Gallery is located at Norwalk City Hall, 125 East Ave, room 236.
