Norwalk Symphony Orchestra Opening Concert of the Season
The Norwalk Symphony inaugurates its 72nd season under the baton of its new music director, Jonathan Yates, with three of the most beloved classics in the orchestral repertoire. Stefan Jackiw, who thrilled NSO audiences in 2009 with his Tchaikovsky concerto, returns for Mendelssohn’s lovely and lyrical Violin Concerto. The program ends with Beethoven’s powerful and iconic Symphony No. 5.
